The annual diploma and insignia ceremony, honoring graduates from Monaco's Institute of Nursing (IFSI) and Institute of Nursing Assistants (IFAS), was graced by the presence of HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, the institute's patron, on Thursday. The event also saw key figures such as Christophe Robino, Minister of Social Affairs and Health; Franck Lobono, National Councilor; Thomas Brezzo; and Benoîte Rousseau de Sevelinges, Director of the Princess Grace Hospital Center (CHPG), among others.
During the ceremony, Josette Piazza-Cadiou, Director of the Institute, commended the graduates for their dedication and adherence to the institute's core values of loyalty, respect, rigor, responsibility, competence, compassion, and altruism, established since 1929. The training period spans three years for nurses and one year for nursing assistants, demanding substantial commitment and perseverance from the students.
The event culminated with the presentation of diplomas to 21 nursing graduates from the "Elie Semoun" 2021-2024 class and 13 nursing assistants from the 2023-2024 class by Princess Caroline herself. The top graduates, Laetitia Racca (IFAS) and Marine Guicheney (IFSI), took the opportunity to express their thanks to the faculty and leadership of the CHPG, noting the honor and privilege of being trained at such a renowned institution.
