Médiathèque September Events: Literary Café and More with Prince Pierre Foundation

This September, Monaco's Médiathèque is set to enrich the cultural calendar with an array of events tailored for every age group, ensuring a vibrant start to the autumn season. Literature enthusiasts are invited to a literary café on Friday, 13 September, at 12:15, hosted in collaboration with the Prince Pierre Foundation of Monaco at the Louis Notari Library. The session will explore debut novels nominated for the Discovery Prize, offering a platform for robust literary discussions with no entry fee.

Film buffs and music aficionados are equally catered for with special events at the same venue. A classic cinema evening featuring Don Siegel’s 1958 thriller, “The Lineup”, will be presented by Yves Gasiglia on Thursday, 19 September, at 18:30. Additionally, a musical conference dedicated to the legendary composer Ennio Morricone, titled “Once Upon a Time Ennio Morricone”, will be held on Friday, 27 September, at 18:30, presented by Bernard Guiraud. Both events are free to the public.

Children and families can look forward to creative and educational activities. The Princess Caroline Library will host a 'Tooth Box' craft workshop on Wednesday, 18 September, from 15:00 to 16:00 for children aged three and up. Storytelling sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, 25 September, providing captivating tales for young audiences. For infants to toddlers, sessions including reading, sign language, and musical awakening are planned throughout the month.
