Médiathèque de Monaco October Events: A Cultural Convergence for All Ages

This October, the Médiathèque de Monaco invites residents and visitors to immerse themselves in a diverse array of cultural activities. Renowned as a central point for cultural engagement, the Médiathèque extends beyond a traditional library; it integrates literature, cinema, music, and art, enriching the cultural life of Monaco. The venue is equipped with modern facilities such as free Wi-Fi, computers, and a projection room, alongside specialized collections found at the José Notari Sound Library and its comprehensive video library.

The month's events begin on October 7 with a significant gathering for literature aficionados, featuring a book signing by authors nominated for the prestigious Discovery Grant, presented in association with the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation. This is followed by a captivating evening on October 15, hosted by Ambre Pietri, who will blend literature, storytelling, theater, and music into a singular artistic experience.

Additional highlights include the opening of Céline Marin's art exhibition on October 18, titled "There Are Flowers Everywhere for Those Who Want to See Them," which explores local history through art inspired by the Côte d’Azur from 1860 to 1940. Marin will also conduct a collaborative art workshop on October 19. The program concludes with a Halloween-themed event focused on manga and games, and a lecture on Francis Bacon’s engraving techniques on October 29. All events at the Médiathèque are complimentary, reinforcing its role as an accessible cultural hub in Monaco.
