Monaco is set to honor its rich cultural history with the 29th European Heritage Days on September 15, themed ‘Routes, Networks, and Connections’. This prestigious event, orchestrated by the Prince’s Government’s Institute of Heritage, invites both locals and tourists to delve into the Principality's storied past through various exhibitions and activities spread across notable venues.
Key sites include the Monaco Town Hall, open from 10:00 to 17:00, where attendees can explore the Marriage Hall, the new Council Chamber, and the main hall. The venue will also host performances by the U Cantin d’A Roca choir and feature the “Vertical Voyage: Monaco and Its Staircases” exhibition, which runs until September 20, 2024, highlighting significant documents from the Mediatheque’s archives.
Additional attractions encompass guided tours at the Rainier III Academy and the Pavillon Bosio, School of Fine Arts, which presents the “Garden Club #4: Dance of the Gaze” exhibition. The Botanical Center of the Exotic Garden and Parc Princesse Antoinette are also participating, offering specialized tours and creative workshops.
