Monaco Scouts and Guides Embark on Humanitarian Mission to Argentina in 2025

The Guides and Scouts of Monaco have launched an ambitious humanitarian mission set for August 2025 in Argentina’s Chaco province, highlighting their dedication to global community service. The project will involve constructing a kitchen for a school in Misiòn Nueva Pompeya, a remote area near the dense forest known as “El Impenetrable.” This initiative, in collaboration with NGO Haciendo Camino, the Association Monaco Argentina (AMA), the Cordon d’Or, and the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, aims to foster cultural exchanges and provide essential infrastructure to the local indigenous communities.

In preparation for this venture, the organization recently convened in Casterino Paradisio, near Tende, where a hundred participants celebrated the project kickoff. The event featured a barbecue hosted by Mauro Colagreco, the acclaimed chef behind the three-Michelin-starred Mirazur restaurant in Menton, who prepared a traditional Argentine feast for the attendees.

To fund the 20,000 euros needed for the Argentina project, the Monaco scouts are organizing a series of fundraising efforts, including charity galas, dinner buffets, a lottery, and an auction. These initiatives underscore the scouts' commitment to not only building infrastructures but also bridging cultural gaps through meaningful international cooperation.
