Monaco's Salon International du Livre Returns to Grimaldi Forum with Expanded Lineup

The Salon International du Livre de Monaco is poised to reconvene at the Grimaldi Forum on the 7th and 8th of September, showcasing a distinguished array of literary talents and an enriching schedule of events. Celebrating its 13th iteration, this year's fair is anticipated to be the grandest yet, hosting over 140 acclaimed authors from both local and international backgrounds. These literary figures will share their expertise and enthusiasm for literature, enriching the cultural fabric of Monaco.

Under the esteemed patronage of HSH Prince Albert, who fervently supports the literary arts and the promotion of reading in the principality, the fair will feature French political scientist Gilles Kepel as the Guest of Honour. The inclusion of approximately 20 members from the Rencontre des Auteurs Francophones network will further elevate the fair’s international appeal, underscoring its significance in the Francophone literary community.

The event, orchestrated by Fabian Boisson of Rencontres Littéraires, promises a dynamic and engaging lineup including conferences, discussions, and interactive "literary cafés" designed to foster lively exchanges between authors and the audience. Jean-Louis Debré, former French Minister of the Interior and acclaimed author, will patron the 2024 edition, bringing additional prestige to the event. Admission to the fair, which runs from 10:00 to 18:00 each day, is complimentary, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with the literary world. Further information is available on the fair's official website.
