Monaco's Casino de Monte-Carlo Expands to the High Seas with Crystal Partnership

The prestigious Casino de Monte-Carlo is set to debut its first-ever maritime venture, teaming up with the luxury cruise line Crystal. This expansion will see the renowned casino launch aboard the Crystal Symphony, with festivities commencing in Venice on November 14th. This initiative, spearheaded by the Société des Bains de Mer (SBM), aims to reach a global audience while preserving its hallmark of excellence. The floating casino will feature thirty slot machines and classic table games such as Blackjack and Roulette. Crystal’s staff will be trained in the Monte-Carlo tradition, ensuring the service mirrors the high standards set by Monaco’s iconic casino.

Pascal Camia, SBM's Director of International Development, emphasizes that this venture allows the Monte-Carlo brand to introduce its distinguished gaming experience to new patrons. SBM plans to maintain the casino’s esteemed ambiance by conducting annual audits and regular staff retraining. Following the launch on Crystal Symphony, a second casino will open on the Crystal Serenity in December, targeting affluent passengers frequenting the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

This expansion not only broadens the geographical reach of the Casino de Monte-Carlo but also reinforces its status as a frontrunner in the luxury gaming industry. By introducing the casino experience aboard Crystal cruise ships, SBM hopes to allure guests to the grandeur of Monaco's onshore gaming facilities, enhancing the principality's allure as a top-tier gambling destination.
