Monaco Police Respond to False Alarm Over Suspicious Package on Boulevard des Moulins

A tense situation on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 3, was swiftly resolved in Monaco after a suspicious package was discovered on Boulevard des Moulins. The Monaco Police's bomb disposal unit responded promptly, arriving at the scene outside the shop ‘Je le veux’ at 10 Boulevard des Moulins, where a black garbage bag was left unattended.

The area was immediately cordoned off, disrupting traffic flow as safety protocols were enacted. Following a meticulous examination, the bomb disposal experts ascertained that the bag merely contained regular waste, alleviating concerns of any potential danger to the public.

This incident underscores Monaco’s vigilance regarding public safety, reflecting similar precautionary responses to past occurrences, such as the recent event on Avenue Princess Alice. Authorities continue to prioritize swift and effective measures to maintain security and peace within the community.
