Monaco Government Launches Online School Enrollment for 2025-26 Academic Year

The Prince’s Government of Monaco has made available the online registration for the 2025-26 academic year for both public and private contract primary and secondary schools. Parents and guardians can access the registration platform through the MonGuichet.mc portal, under the Education section, which is accessible around the clock on various devices including computers, tablets, and smartphones. For those preferring traditional methods, paper applications are still accepted and can be obtained from the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports (DENJS) or directly from the desired school.

Eligibility for enrollment is open to children who are either Monégasque nationals or residents of Monaco, aged three or who will turn three during the first trimester of the academic year. The enrollment window for public schools is set from January 6 to March 21, 2025, and for private contract schools from January 13 to March 28, 2025. Secondary education applications are also invited for Monégasque students, residents, and those currently attending up to grade 9 in Monaco’s public schools, with specific dates varying by institution.

Additionally, Lycée Rainier III is offering applications for post-secondary programs such as BTS in Management Support, Accounting and Management, and the DCG diploma. Specialized hospitality programs are also available, including BTS in Hospitality Management and preparatory courses, with the first phase of enrollment open from January 15 to April 2, 2025. For students needing tailored schedules to accommodate sports commitments, the application period runs from March 17 to May 15, 2025. Those requiring exemptions for reasons such as non-residency or age-related issues should approach the DENJS. The general exemption application period is open from January 1 to May 1, 2025, with an extension to May 15 for residence-based exemptions. Further details are available on the MonGuichet.mc portal or through direct contact with the DENJS.
