Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Monaco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage on Wednesday, September 18, to honor four newly accredited ambassadors to the Principality. The distinguished guests included Jorge Luis Jure Arnoletti from Uruguay, Hernando Alfonso Prada Gil from Colombia, Monsignor Martin Krebs, Apostolic Nuncio, and Guilhermina Prata from Angola. Prior to the luncheon, these diplomats had the opportunity to present their credentials to H.S.H. Prince Albert II, further solidifying their diplomatic ties with Monaco.
Ambassador Jorge Luis Jure Arnoletti of Uruguay boasts a lengthy career in diplomacy, having served in various capacities including as Consul in New York and Ambassador to several countries, with a current posting in France, Monaco, and Algeria. Ambassador Hernando Alfonso Prada Gil from Colombia, a seasoned legal scholar and former professor, has recently taken up his role as Colombia's Ambassador to France, after positions as Secretary-General of the Colombian Presidency and Minister of the Interior.
The gathering also celebrated the contributions of H.E. Monsignor Martin Krebs, who has served in numerous Apostolic Nunciatures since his ordination in 1983, and H.E. Guilhermina Prata, who comes from a strong legal and political background and recently assumed the role of Angola’s Ambassador to France. The event underscored Monaco's commitment to fostering diplomatic relations and highlighted the distinguished careers of the attending ambassadors.
