Monaco Economic Board Leads Trade Mission to Warsaw with Local Business Leaders

From September 29 to October 3, the Monaco Economic Board (MEB), in partnership with the Monegasque Embassy in Poland, spearheaded a trade mission to Warsaw, engaging 18 leading business figures from Monaco. The initiative aimed to immerse Monegasque entrepreneurs within Poland's vibrant business milieu, fostering avenues for collaboration and growth. The mission commenced with an event at the Polish Chamber of Commerce, where MEB delegates and Polish businesses exchanged insights into their respective economic climates, culminating in a new bilateral agreement signed in the presence of Monaco’s Ambassador to Poland, Germany, and Austria, H.E. Mr. Lorenzo Ravano.

The agreement signed by Guillaume Rose, CEO of MEB, and Michał Krawczyk, Vice-President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, heralds a new era of closer economic ties between Monaco and Poland, underlining a mutual commitment to leverage growth opportunities. This was followed by a series of engagements, including a compelling case study presentation on Wisniewski liqueur, showcasing successful marketing strategies from a Polish family business that captivated Monegasque delegates. Discussions extended to the robust Polish economic environment, highlighted by a session with Andrzej Szumowski and two rising Warsaw entrepreneurs, illustrating the resilience and strategic economic advancement despite regional geopolitical challenges.

The trade mission concluded with a networking cocktail hosted by the Monegasque Embassy, solidifying the relationships and collaborative prospects established throughout the visit. Notably, the mission also included an interaction with Corporate Connections, facilitated by Mr. Tomasz Wardinski, Consul of Monaco in Poland, setting the stage for potential future collaborations. This successful mission not only strengthened economic ties but also set a strong foundation for future cooperative ventures between Monaco and Poland, promising enduring benefits for both communities.
