Herve Ordioni Departs from Edmond de Rothschild After Two Years

Herve Ordioni, a prominent figure in Monaco's banking sector, has abruptly left his role as Head of International Private Banking at Edmond de Rothschild, a Geneva-based financial institution. The news of his departure, which marks a significant shift within the bank, has been confirmed by both Inside Paradeplatz and fines.com, with the bank also acknowledging the change.

Ordioni, who played a pivotal role in the establishment of Edmond de Rothschild Gestion (Monaco) in 2008, was tasked with overseeing the bank’s operations not only in Monaco but also in Switzerland, Dubai, Israel, and the UK. His sudden exit has led to the temporary appointment of Deputy CEO Cynthia Tobiano to fill his position.

The reasons behind Ordioni's sudden departure remain undisclosed, leaving room for speculation within Monaco's closely-knit financial community. His leadership had been instrumental in expanding the bank’s reach and influence across various key global markets. The transition comes at a time when the bank continues to navigate the complexities of international private banking.
