2025 Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique Promises Iconic Routes and Thrilling Competition

The 2025 edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco, is set to captivate enthusiasts with a route steeped in the event's storied history. Competitors will face a challenging course in their quest to overtake the reigning champions, Michel Decremer and Jennifer Hugo, who prevailed in the 2024 rally driving their 1979 Opel Ascona 400. The rally, maintaining its tradition, will commence shortly after the 93rd Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo, starting on January 30 from diverse locations including Bad Hombourg, Reims, Monte-Carlo, and Turin, and converging in Valence.

The competition will intensify on February 1, with a classification stage featuring four demanding special stages across the Vercors massif, including the notable "Col Gaudissart – La Cîme du Mas" and "Les Nonnières – Chichilianne" stages. The route will challenge participants with its varied terrain and climatic conditions, concluding the day's racing back in Valence. The following days will see the rally navigate through the Ardèche and the Vercors, Diois, and Baronnies massifs, with stages that test both driver skill and machine endurance.

Culminating in Monaco, the rally’s final stages on February 4 will lead competitors through iconic routes like "La Charce – Rosans" and "Sisteron – Thoard," before the ultimate ascent of the Col de Turini. The event will conclude on the morning of February 5 at Port Hercule in Monaco, followed by a prestigious Gala and Awards Evening at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Club’s Salle des Etoiles, celebrating the achievements of the participants in grand fashion, marking another memorable chapter in the rally's illustrious heritage.
